If you fail to do this basic exercise, you are planning to fail. We should learn what to learn and what not to learn. We should read what is expected in exam and try to skip what is not expected. For this, syllabus and previous year question papers are very important. This will keep you well ahead of other aspirants. Make your own Strategy for IBPS Clerk CRP VIII 2018-2019.

Then we should select books which are easy to understand, easy to read and of good quality. Quality is important than quantity. Also select books depending on your preparation level that is one may choose basic book to read first and then approach to advanced one and some other mat choose to read advanced book if they have done with basic concepts.
